And boy was he excited. Every morning I ask the kids what they dreamt about and Jacob always says his birthday. (He's still saying it despite it being May 24th.)
Before the presents
During. (Mom, this is the singing card you sent. I tried to catch his faces so I could send them to you. Both grandmas.)
Jacob picked out this pinata months in advance. Isn't that just the funniest thing you ever saw. And Jacob is a master at cracking down pinatas.
The ice cream cake he wanted. He went through many types of cake but this is what he settled on (with neopolitan ice cream. a bit different but good.)
I can't really say enough good things about this kid. He's super helpful, funny, really sweet. He is also our most stubborn. For example, He'd rather miss dinner and be in time out for hours instead of saying sorry. We're hoping one day he'll get past that. He's pretty big for his age and is at 95% or so in everything. I measure the kids on their birthday and Jacob is the same height Luke was on his 5th birthday. They get mistaken for twins all the time.
So anyway, we love you Jacob.
