Christmas 2013

Christmas 2013
This year was a busy and exciting one for us.   We welcomed our 5th child and our 4th boy into the family.  Alex Mark Whittle was born at 1:58am on August 24th.  It was a really difficult pregnancy and a really easy natural labor.  He loves to smile and giggle and kick his feet around when he’s getting attention.  And he has fluffy hair which his mom loves.

Dalton (2) is a hoot but you might not get to see it because if someone he doesn’t know well tries to talk to him, he’ll give him “the look”.  He loves to make fires (pretend and real) and go on dates with mom or dad.

Jane’s (5) hair has grown in nicely from last year’s chop.  She is a big helper for mom and likes to dance with people, make up jokes, and color pictures for her friends.

Jacob (6) likes to make things with crafts and has a real knack for understanding how things work.  We think he might be a budding engineer, just like his parents.

Luke (7) is such a great help also.  He asks his mom multiple times a day if she needs any help.  He likes to read Magic Tree House books and ride his bike.  He is starting to grasp the concept of a pun which helps his joke making skills.

Adrienne turned 30 this year and she couldn’t be happier with her life.  She gets to stay home with the kiddos and practice those homemaking skills.  She makes homemade bread weekly and holds down the fort while Adam works.  She recently began working with the cub scouts at church and is learning a lot.

Adam also turned 30 this year and we’ve stopped trying to pull out his grey hair.  He loves his job and spends his spare time working on side businesses, reading, and wrestling the kids.  He is a great cook and is always making things for our neighbors, friends, and family.

We are so grateful for our family, friends, and our Savior.  We recognize His hand in our lives and look forward to another great year.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
