Adam's uncle flew us down to Brawley, CA for Aaron's (Adam's brother) homecoming from Argentina. It was really nice to fly instead of drive. It turned a 9 or 10 hour trip into just under 3 hours and as you can see in the pictures below the kids did fine in the plane. We had a nice tail wind on the way down and were able to cruise down at almost 230 mph!! We flew directly into the small airport in Adam's hometown and then only had to get a ride across town to Adam's home. Thanks Rick.

Adrienne's brother got married 2 weeks ago and here are some pictures of the boys around temple square. We think that Jacob looks just like his Grandpa Blackburn.

Thought this was a really cute picture of Luke. See how he's holding the camera? Grandpa taught him how to take pictures and now he wants to whenever we take our camera out.

With summer and warmer weather fast approaching we bought a kiddie pool for Luke to play in. He's gonna love being able to slide into it!
We have just about got everything ready to plant our first garden. Here we have strawberries that we can't wait to pick.
Here you can see the plot we've set aside and the furrows we've got ready. We just finished watering today and we're going to plant tomorrow. Sweet corn, squash, anaheim and bell peppers, tomatoes, peas, cantalope, onions and one or two more things. We're really excited, hope the ground is good. After all the rototilling, weeding and fertilizing it should be.
For those of you who know about our apricot tree and the late freeze we had, Look! we're gonna have tons of apricots! It froze after it had blossomed and all the blossoms fell off but luckily the bees had already done their job. We had tons last year too but because the tree hadn't been sprayed their we're earwigs throughout it all. The ones that didn't have bugs were really good though and this year we've already got someone lined up to keep the tree sprayed, it's gonna be great. Those of you who've asked for some can come get some when they're ready, we'll eat some and then the rest we're going to dehydrate and possibly make into jam and fruit leather. Yum!

Oh, and real quickly for the first time Jacob has climbed up in his crib and stood. He was crying tonight and when we went in to check on him he had pulled himself up into a standing position in his crib, was holding on to the side and STANDING. This is from a kid who doesn't crawl yet, he just rolls to wherever he wants to be but whatever.
